Our Alumni

We miss all our former students and would love to know what you are doing with yourselves these days.

Our Alumni page is a place to celebrate our former students and their achievements.  We would love to include many more of you here, so, if you'd like to become part of our Alumni section, please contact us.  Send us your photos, YouTube links, audio, Facebook pages and Twitter feeds and tell us where you are now - if you like, you could also tell us some of the things you remember about your time at WAC!

We look forward to hearing from you!

"My experience at WAC meant the world to me and if I could still attend the centre I probably would, (with me ole self). I gained a valuable insight into the intricacies of vocal performance which led to me being a professional singer/songwriter"

"WAC gave me an insite into all aspects of performing and composing in Jazz music. It gave me a solid foundation in music that I don't believe I would have been privy to in similar colleges. It was on the strength of the experience and knowledge that I gained at WAC that I was accepted onto my Jazz degree course which then enabled me to go on to do my Post-Graduate Certificate in Education and become a qualified teacher of music."

"WAC was an unforgettable experience.  A real breeding ground for the future stars of tomorrow. I remain forever indebted to Celia, Martha, Michelle, Latti and Alec among others who gave to us from their heart and souls and of course Margaret who kept us fed and watered.  Who knew that an oasis of talent existed in the deepest darkest depths of west kentish town!"

"Happy Birthday WAC! To this day, and that means some 23 years on from my training at WAC and now also teaching myself,  I still use some of the theatrical exercises I learnt in WAC classes. I will never forget the quality of the teaching and the things I learnt. On visiting you recently, it felt like I’d never been away. I was warmly greeted and offered good and valuable advice, like any other family member.  I was taken back, proud and inspired at how faithful, sincere and dedicated WAC has been to its aims. So here’s to a very happy birthday, and many more happy birthdays to come. Sending you my deepest and most sincere congratulations and encouragements, to a very valuable organisation, that has been such a solid trampoline to so many people."
