From the results of the survey it is clear that most people are admant that a person should have the right to stop any form of suffering from being inflicted upon him/her. Yet when you apply the same principle but this time use the term euthanasia their enthusiasm decreases. This clearly shows that people seem to have some kind of a bias against the term Euthanasia. A surprising number of people seem to have no idea about the legal status os euthanasia. However a majority of those who did agreed that it is time to change the law on euthanasia. On the matter of who should make the decision only 6% of those asked thought that the government should have a hand in this decision. Considering this result it is a wonder that the British public is still allowing the government ot make such a decision that should obviously remain a personal decision.
